Reduce material inputs and outputs for production
- Planning when ordering to minimise material waste
- Recycling (steel, aluminium, cardboard, paper, waste thinners)
- Preferring Australian made materials and parts
- Only purchase timber that is certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC)

Improve the efficiency of operations
- Reduce energy and water usage
- Reduce vehicle fuel costs and emissions by planning, scheduling and routing efficiently

Improve products to reduce impact in use and at the end of life
- Improve design and quality assurance to lengthen product life
- Offer parts and processes to recycle, refurbish or re-use products

Remain accountable
- Improve reporting and analysis of sustainability initiatives
- Comply with emerging regulations and minimize environmental risk
